One of many favorite quotes: "If I owned Texas and hell, I would rent out Texas and live in hell."
Hailing from southeastern Connecticut, Dan Radin is a musician first, and a drummer second. Dan studied classical percussion at New Jersey's Rutgers University and contemporary drum set at Boston's Berklee College of Music, all the while playing in groups including Ground Zero, Halley Ecstatic, Infinite Frequency, The Mighty Fantastic, and Nordberg & Blumenreder. Dan's musical approach to the drums is built on groove, sensitive dynamics, and careful attention to his drums' sonic character. His playing is most directly influenced by Al Jackson, Jr. (Al Green), the drummers of Motown and James Brown, and John Bonham (Led Zeppelin). "I'm humbled to share the stage with such talented, intelligent, emotional players," says Dan, "but more importantly, Vesper is about great songs – making music that connects with people."
Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Jason has been playing
guitar since childhood. As an admirer of many rock guitar
legends, major influences include Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray
Vaughan, David Gilmour and Michael Gurley. He is a true fan
of the Fender Stratocaster and the classic tube amp, citing
their tone and warmth, to which he adds occasional digital
delay and effects for added depth. Writing and recording
instrumental rock pieces since 15, Jason included novel works
as lead guitarist in his most recent band project Minedstate,
in Charleston South Carolina.
Now in Orange County, California, Jason is primed to continue
his musical journey with Vesper.
